During high allergy season itchiness can be caused by a variety of problems. Excessive itching is frustrating for dogs and their owners and can lead to skin damage such as bald patches, open or broken skin or thick leathery patches when the surface of the skin is compromised. Wash Bars Itch Soothe Topical Spray and Shampoo are both designed to help relieve itching across a range of conditions.
The Wash Bar Itch Soothe Spray and Shampoo are different from anything else on the market. Both products are made from a blend of botanical extracts with high levels of bio-actives created using a new and innovative ‘cellular level’ extraction process. These powerful bio-active ingredients contain Quercetin (a natural antihistamine), Vitamin C (a natural healer) and (in the Topical Spray) Anethole (a natural pain relief).
Together these help soothe and calm dogs’ itchy, sore skin and stop excessive scratching, chewing, biting and licking. The bio-actives are combined with essential oils that are antibacterial, anti fungal and soothing to further help reduce inflammation and discomfort brought on by allergies.
Field trials were conducted in early 2015 where a number of dog owners were asked to rate their dogs’ itchiness on a scale from 1 (not that itchy) to 5 (itches like mad). They then trialled the spray on their dogs for 2 weeks – the majority of the dogs went from a 5/4 down to 1/0 (0 = didn’t itch at all). A few that were 3s also went down to 1 or 0.
These products are completely free of any nasties or synthesised ingredients, contain no synthetic fragrances, and are alcohol free.

Delivery

If you order before 12pm Monday to Friday your order will be dispatched the same day. We are based on beautiful Waiheke Island, although it's not often our NZ wide customers know this as our delivery times are so fast! If you place your order before 1pm Monday to Friday and are based in Auckland or the North Island delivery is overnight to two working days. South Island and some Rural Addresses over to three working days.
If your order is small and can fit in a satchel and placed before 12pm it will likely reach you overnight on the next working day across the country.
Please note we are currently unable to deliver outside New Zealand. We are also unable to deliver to PO boxes.

Bulky orders under $78.99 may incur an additional freight charge of $10. We may contact you before shipping your order to discuss this.
Waiheke Hand Delivery
All Waiheke orders are hand delivered by the team here at Pet Connect and for free, no matter where you live on the island or what you buy. Waiheke orders placed Mon - Fri before 11am will be delivered *same day.
*(Unless anything unforeseen occurred. We're a small team so if one of us is ill we may not be able to complete orders till the following day, this is rare although a possibility.)
Click and Collect (Waiheke customers)
If you have placed your order before 9am Mon- Fri, it will be available for you to pick up from our retail premise. If you placed your order after 9am it will be available to pick up the following business day. This is due to a portion of our stock being stored at another premise. Please provide your contact number and we make contact when your order is ready to collect.

How it works
If you find an identical product currently available for less at an eligible NZ retailer, we'll match that price. You can claim before you order and we'll apply the matched price at checkout, or within 7 days of your purchase and we'll refund the difference.
What qualifies
The lower price must be from a registered New Zealand retailer with an active NZ-based store, selling the item as a regular part of their range. The product must be identical — same brand, model, size, and variant — new, and currently in stock at the competitor at its standard retail price. The Price Pledge applies to the product price only and excludes delivery charges. If purchasing online, standard freight costs apply in addition to the matched price. Where a competitor's lower price is only available through an auto-ship or subscription programme, we will match that price provided the customer signs up to our Auto Order programme for the same product.
What doesn't qualify
We're unable to match prices from overseas retailers or international websites, private sellers or Trade Me private listings, or prices that are part of a clearance sale, flash sale, bundle deal, or pricing error. Price Pledge cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotional offers.
How to claim
Email us at info@petconnect.nz with the subject line "Price Pledge Claim" and include the product name and details, the competitor's name, and a link or screenshot of their listing showing the price and stock availability. We'll get back to you within 1 business day. Pre-purchase claims will receive a one-time discount code to use at checkout; post-purchase claims approved within the 7-day window will receive a refund of the price difference to your original payment method.
